Selepe Projects (Pty) Ltd is excited to announce their new shareholder, Mrs. Shibe Matjiu, where she will hold the majority shares of Haloforce (Pty) Ltd, the holding company of Selepe Projects (Pty) Ltd.

“The BEE deal is a significant development for us,” comments Adriaan Kloppers, Selepe Projects’ CEO. “Not only does it enhance our BEE status, but Shibe brings a wealth of additional expertise and mining experience to the table.”

Selepe’s product offering includes electrical & instrumentation, fire suppression and security, as well as consulting services and relies heavily on the mining sector, amongst other industries. “Shibe is well-known in the mining industry and has played a significant role in ensuring excellent relationships with the surrounding communities”, adds Kloppers.

Mrs. Rose Rasibe Matjiu, known as Shibe, is a qualified social worker with a Master’s degree as well as a diploma in mining and minerals and has been in the mining industry for 15 years. She has served as a director of various mining companies, including Platmin and Sephaku Holdings, where she is still on the board. Furthermore, Shibe is a trustee on the Livhuwani Disabled Children’s Trust focused on assisting disabled black children in rural areas.

Shibe will take the role of chairperson and will actively be involved in the running of Selepe Projects.

“We look forward to great things to come for Selepe Projects in the near future”, concludes Kloppers.
